March 29, 2009 — 2nd cycle on meds: Clomid.
April 4, 2009 — 1st visit to Reproductive Endocrinologist: Dr. Lynn Davis (SRM)
April 6, 2009 — Hysterosonogram (to look at my uterus & fallopian tubes).
April 10, 2009 — Follow-up Ultrasound to look at uterus
April 11, 2009 — MRI to examine uterus. Septate uterus suspected.
May 10, 2009 — Surgery on uterus.
June 1, 2009 — 3rd cycle on meds: Clomid.
June 29, 2009 — 4th cycle on meds: Clomid.
July 27, 2009 — 5th cycle on meds: Letrozole and 1st round IUI.
August 23, 2009 — 6th cycle on meds: Letrozole + Follistim and 2nd round IUI.
September 18, 2009 — 7th cycle on meds: Letrozole + Follistim + Estrogen and 3rd round IUI.
October 8, 2009 — Acupuncture Begins
October 14, 2009 — 8th cycle on meds: Letrozole + Follistim + Estrogen and 4th round IUI.
December 8, 2009 — Meet with new Reproductive Endocrinologist: Dr. Letterie (NCRS)
December 12, 2009 — Monitor Natural Cycle
January 27, 2010 — Begin IVF Suppression
February 25, 2010 — Begin IVF Cycle
March 6, 2010 — Egg Retrieval, 15 eggs
March 11, 2010 — Day 5 Embryo Transfer, 1 Grade 3-4
March 20, 2010 — Negative HCG Beta. IVF Cycle Failure.
April 27, 2010 – IUI. Negative.
June 22, 2010 – FET. 2 Day 5 Embryos. Chemical Pregnancy.
September 6, 2010 – Estrogen + Follistim. IUI.
September 18, 2010 – Beta Negative.
September 20, 2010 – Meet with new Reproductive Endocrinologist. Dr. Opsahl. Doctor advised us to pursue a surrogate. Thanks, dude.
September 29, 2010 – Switch clinics, meet with new Reproductive Endocrinologist – Dr. Lorna Marshall. Suspected diagnosis – borderline ‘lean or thin’ PCOS.
September 30, 2010 – Start on metformin drug to help manage hormone levels and remedy ‘lea n PCOS.’
November 15, 2010 – Spontaneous ovulation (which we caught!)
November 28, 2010 – Positive Pregnancy test! Beta = 51.
December 23, 2010 – 6 week ultrasound, all is good, heartbeat is detected.
January 4, 2011 – 8.5 week ultrasound, all looks good.
February 3, 2011 – 12.5 week ultrasound, no heartbeat. Confirmed miscarriage.
February 4, 2011 – D&C.
July 1, 2011 – Begin #2 IVF Cycle. Protocol = increased lupron (.1 cc) + follistim (200) + menopur (75) + dexamethansone (steriods) + metoformin
July 20, 2011 – Beta is 15. Another cycle failure.
November 1, 2011 – FET #2 transfer of 2, Grade A Blastocyst
November 10, 2011 – Negative pregnancy test.
March – June 2012 – 3 IUI cycles. All failures.
June 20, 2012 – Hysteroscopy, minimal scar tissue removed.
July 27, 2012 – Start our 3rd IVF, with genetic testing (PGS) planned
August 8, 2012 – 3rd IVF Retrieval. 22 retrieved, 20 mature, 18 fertilized
August 13, 2012 – Day 5 Embryo Report, 6 Grade A, Froze all
August 14, 2012 – Biopsy of 6 embryos from IVF #3 (fresh) and 2 frozens from IVF #2 (frozen) sent away for PGS
August 27, 2012 – Receive word that there was an error at the lab…PGS results unavailable.
September 11, 2012 – Decide to proceed into FET #3 with using 3 frozen embryos. Transfer likely mid-October.
